To ensure the quality of hay, straw and other materials, quality control by measuring the water content is essential. With professional moisture measurement, mold or the risk of fire due to self-ignition of the material is avoided.

The humimeter FL2 Hay and straw moisture meter impresses with the unique possibility of measuring loose material. Hay and straw are easily and directly on site with the humimeter FL2 and the compressor plate are measured. Forage moisture is just as easy to measure.

With the exchangeable, stable 0,6 meter long hay measuring probe, other special materials such as cellulose, tobacco or alfalfa can also be easily measured according to your wishes.
The humimeter FL2 with individual calibration functions for special materials is perfect for producers, dealers and end customers.

Handling and measurement process
With the humimeter FL2, checking loose hay or straw can be carried out effortlessly and in seconds:

Before measuring loose material, the compression plate is mounted. Place the hay probe on the material so that the temperature adapts, pierce the bale of hay or straw with the piercing probe and read the water content and temperature from the LCD after a few seconds.

The measured values can be stored on the humimeter FL2 hay moisture meter using the "Hold" function until the next time a button is pressed on the display.
